1. Some of us went to Fondue tonight. Is anyone surprised to hear that I dropped something and burned at least 3 fingers? Yes everybody, though I’m in a different country, I’m still very much Anna.

Week 3. At least it's almost February
Ok. So this marks the first week of classes. That’s all fine. Not too much work (or I hope not) and potentially some pretty interesting stuff. The week was pretty average, a lot of hanging around the IES center in between classes and free time. Went out a couple nights, but nothing crazy and nothing too late. Friday went to Ministry of Finance and heard some guy (none of us are sure who)...
Was watching CNN while I got ready tonight
Egypt is blowing my mind right now. It’s just straight crazy.

About to book my flight to Dublin for the 16th to the 19th.
About to book my flight to London for the 27th and then from there to Athens on the 29th.

Just found out one of my class excursions got changed to the day we all leave for Stockholm. It costs 14 Euros to just buy a new ticket all together on Saturday. Can’t tell if it’s worth it.
I can either spend 14 Euros to go on Saturday or potentially much more for a Hostel and food Friday night in Stockholm.

Going to an awesome club. Seriously nobody attacked the girls on the dance floor and I’ve never seen guys rock out so hard before on their own, so way to go IESers. The second I got there suddenly everything was 100% better. Need to remember not to let my phone access the wifi at josh’s apartment. Spent way too much time trying to hear from the people I miss. But seriously this group is awesome.
Because who doesn't want to go to a Nordic country...
Just booked a flight to Stockholm for the weekend of Feb 4 with a whole bunch of people from my trip. Then I just booked a flight to Oslo to visit Thea and her family the next weekend of the 11.
The flight to Stockholm and back was a full 30 Euros. Rough life.

Today we went to German History Museum. We saw the exhibition on German history in the early 1900s. It’s so surreal to see all these artifacts from the time and realize that your standing in the place, or yesterday especially when we were at the Parliament building (The Reichstag), that the Nazi AND Soviet take over occurred.
